European Programmes at VINNOVA is the main Swedish National Contact Point, NCP, for the Framework Programme and is responsible for the information dissemination in Sweden. We provide information and advice concerning all aspects of the EU Framework Programmes: research areas and priorities, legal issues, rules for participation, model contracts and other agreements, applications, finding partners, mobility, etc. We are here to serve universities and colleges, large and small enterprises, government agencies, research institutes, municipalities, guest researchers, et al.Another of our important tasks is to monitor Sweden's progress in the Framework Programme. To that end, we compile statistics and perform evaluations/analysis. The results are published on this website.News & InformationAs National Contact Point we obtain highly valuable information via our direct contact with the European Commission, and disseminate this information in a variety of ways. We publish an electronic newsletter, Inside, (in Swedish) with news about the Framework Programme and other European Programmes.
Advice, Education and Information DaysThe more knowledge about the framework programme you have, the greater your chances of being granted EU funding. We can give you advice and support about every-thing involved in EU framework programmes, from research priorities to applications and contract issues. Our contact persons are familiar with the priorities in every area and can also advise you concerning the search for a partner. Our legal counsel answers questions about rules for participation, contracts and other agreementsSeveral times a year, we arrange courses on various themes e.g. applications, project management and contacts. The instructors are highly knowledgeable and have longstanding experience with EU framework programmes. Practical cases are usually included in the courses. We also invite researchers as guest lecturers whohave concrete experience with e.g. filing applications or coordinating large projects. We provide information about the courses in our e-mail newsletter. For specific target groups, such as municipalities, small enterprises, industry organisationsand regional organisations, we can design tailor-made information days or workshops, which allows researchers to discuss and give advice concerning your specific questions and projects. We arrange regular conferences and information days e.g. in conjunction with the opening of an application round, sometimes independently and sometimes in cooperation with other stakeholders around the country. Our contact persons frequently attend seminars in various locations in Sweden. Our Brussels OfficeOur office in Brussels can assist you with the right contacts e.g. with the European Commission and other institutions in Brussels. The office acts as a link, contact point and discussion partner when you want to present your activities, arrange seminars etc on-site in Brussels - or simply establish the right contacts. The office provides workstations for temporary Swedish visitors and a conference room that seats up to twelve people. The office is part of IGLO, a network of research offices from many different countries in Brussels.
